Much love to you all. The world may seem a bit dark after an intense two years of a presidential election, and that’s ok to allow yourself time to grieve and to keep moving forward. Sometimes our anger can come in forms of protesting because we don’t know what to do with all the emotions we feel right now. We’re all in shock, and are upset. Although change is scary, we must keep on hold for what is next, be strong, stand clear and act peaceful as the next year comes. As each situation happens, we need to come together as a broken country and have a dialogue to figure it all out to become whole again. We are bigger and better than what we have survived, and what is to come.
Something to help…
The XX released this morning the new single “On Hold” from their forthcoming Winter 2017 album I See You. The single features a sample of the eighties hit “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)” by Hall & Oates. The XX shared the new music as a gift to us with these words: “We realize these are uncertain times and we hope the joy and love we found making the record will find its way out into the world, in however small a way. ”
