there is no future left at all

“if people get it, they wouldn’t think it’s depressing. when people always say that fucking annoying thing about how my work’s so depressing, well it’s not because.. it’s just words, and i put the words to music which i think is an uplifting thing, otherwise there would be no point in doing this at all.”

Thank you so much for posting these! But the last link doesn’t seem to be working anymore. I’m not sure if it’s just a temporary glitch but I thought I’d let you know.

Saw Radiohead in Edinburgh last night. There are no words.

    Seriously, that’s exactly right.

It would be interesting to go through time and talk to ‘fans’ of all of history’s giants – DaVinci, Shakespeare, Einstein, you name it. I bet you’d find the same ambivalence about them as you do with Radiohead with most people.

Thom Yorke is a towering genius and it won’t be til we’re long gone that people will understand it.

Lovely, thank you. I’ve had Lucky on repeat for the past week, it’ll be nice to have yet another version.

I’ve never heard a version of “No Surprises” that didn’t completely break my heart.

In a good way, of course.
