Harry Styles fan, rejoice! The former One Direction member is back with his first new music in three years. “As It Was” features singers singers signature vocals and an infectious ’80s inspired hook.

If you like his previous work, you’ll love this one. Harry has never been one to sing with anything less than passion, and ‘As It Was is no exception. The lyrics are intimate and edgy at the same time, anchored by a catchy refrain. It’s Harry at its best, unapologetic in both sound and style. Without further a do or delay, do yourself a favor, take your earphones out and listen it on Spotify.

3. psychofreak (feat. WILLOW) by Camila Cabello

New era, same Camila? Not quite. Though ‘psychofreak’ feels somewhat familiar, it was apparent that Camila was going for a darker sound with this song. With her recent collaborations and Instagram posts of her musical influences, she left little doubt that the album would be different.

Overall, ‘psychofreak’ is a great song that bodes well for Camila’s new album. It Manages to keep fans engaged while still containing a message that they find relatable. The lyric’s reveal Camila’s vulnerability which will make fans feel an extra connection while they jam out to the track.

4. ‘When You’re Gone’ by Shawn Mendes

It’s a solid breakup track from the young singer Shawn Mendes entitled, ‘When You’re Gone’. It sounds like Shawn has been through the emotional wringer since that bitter split from Camila Cabello. And through his single, it gave a chance to pour out all that pain in one long howl. This is just what comes with the territory -even the biggest artistsrelease break-up songs and sad songs. You can’t sing about love without singing about loss too, and everyone does it: Mendes is just doing it for us now.

5. ‘That’s Hilarious’ by Charlie Puth

It’s clear that the chorus is meant to be an upbeat one, since it’s not unusual for one to think that a song titled ‘That’s Hilarious’ would be one sarcasm, bitterness and/or anger.

However, given the fact that this is a breakup anthem, it implies that puth is a glass-half-full type who isn’t hung up on bad relationships and can take the good with the bad, no matter how happy something makes him. The song plays on similar theme with Puth’s prior hit single, ‘Attention’ with a funky build up to a powerful and dreamy chorus.

We hope you all had a blast this April and are safely into May. We don’t want to leave you without anything, but if you enjoyed any of these songs and want us to similar round next month please give us a heads up in the comments! And hopefully, we’ll have new songs in May! Until then , love wins and thanks for the vibes!
